J.C. Brown, Bristol Conn., rosewood, 8-day time & strike cottage clock, C.1845.
CONDITION:
Refinished case with veneer lifting on top left of side, but no losses. Very good paper label. Painted metal dial, with red corner spandrels, has crazing and losses around winding holes, etc. Movement ticks and strikes on bell, but may need cleaning. Both glasses clear and recent. Ht.15".
